After the play Lassiter throws his hands up as if to say
I drew the double team dude. Throw it to the guy who’s open (Kingston).
Jake made the wrong read.
It’s not an easy read to make though. The ball needs to come out so he can’t wait. When he starts his throwing motion and brings the ball back the defender is still on Parker.
But then Parker’s defender bails to Lassiter and if Jake throws underneath to Parker he is still running.
