(the below are the teams I identified in the preseason)
AFC Super Bowl Contenders:
KC: 10-1. Not always pretty, but they find ways to win.
Baltimore: 7-4. Still likely to make the playoffs, but wouldn't be considered a top 2 AFC contender at this point.
AFC possible playoff teams but not SB Contenders by my preseason predictions:
Bills: 9-2. I still consider Allen too erratic to win a SB, but maybe this is finally the Bills' year.
Miami: 5-6. Not looking like a playoff team, but there's still time to change that.
Cincy: 4-7. Definitely not a playoff team this year.
Cleveland: 3-8. LOL, what a mess of a team.
Houston: 7-5. Playoff bound, but that's it.
Jags: 2-9. Talk about the wheels falling off.
NFC Super Bowl Contenders:
Niners: 5-6. Still 6 games to turn things around, but kind of hard to win a SB if you don't make the playoffs.
Packers: 8-3. I'd still rate them as a SB contender, but not currently among the NFC's top two.
NFC possible playoff teams:
Eagles: 9-2. I'm not sold on Hurts' ability to win in the post season, but he's currently got his team in position for a top 2 seed.
Rams: 5-6. Another team with work to do to make the playoffs. Wouldn't rate them right now as an SB contender or even playoff likely.
Cowboys: 4-7. There's always next year, boys. I did say they were gonna Cowboy, I just thought they'd wait until the post season to do it.
Detroit: 10-1. I definitely underrated them preseason. I'd currently rate them as the favorite to win it all.
Tampa Bay: 5-6. Same note as all other 5-6 teams, except they're only a game behind in their division.
Saints: 4-7. So much promise on that team, not enough results.
Seattle: 6-5. Between them and the Cards for the division. Loser likely stays home.
AFC Teams I didn't mention in the preseason as playoff contenders:
Chargers: 7-3. I just forgot to list them in that preseason post. It was an oversight.
Broncos: 7-5. Okay, I was wrong about Nix. The kid can scrap.
NFC Teams I didn't mention in the preseason as playoff contenders:
Vikings: 9-2. Surprise team of the season. Ain't nobody saw them coming.
Commanders: 7-5. That Daniels kid can play a little ball.
Falcons: 6-5. Gotta hold off the Bucs for the division title.
Cards: Tied with Seattle in the division race.
