I think a case could be made that Arod is the best OC BYU has had post-LaVell, and I think Anae is the only one who is even close to having an argument. And yet, CB has called for every single one of them to be fired.
Now, that's not to say Arod hasn't made mistakes, whether in play-calling, recruiting, or assembling his staff. But you could say that about any OC in the country really, and Arod has put together some great offenses in '21 and '22, so I'd be more than a little hesitant to let him go at the end of the season without a clear upgrade.
Maybe Jason Beck would be great, or Dennis Simmons, but neither is a slam dunk. And Kellen Moore isn't coming for anything less than the head coach position.
