Instead they drafted a kicker in the 3rd round. Even if Moody made every kick no kicker is worth a 3rd. I think they drafted a terrible TE before Puka as well.

Under this scenario the 49ers let Ayiuk walk because they don't need another WR. $25 million a year is now available. Current WRs are Puka, Debo, and Jennings. That's a great cast.

With their 1st round pick this past draft instead of taking Pearsal they take Cooper Dejean and they have a lock down corner to pair with Lennor. All of the other picks from the '24 draft are great, I'll keep them. Pearsal is happy under this scenario because he doesn't end up getting shot.

The have the QB, the RBs, the TE, the DBs and Safeties. The needs on the team coming up are now o-line, d-line, LBs, and a young TE with even more cap space to get a good pass rusher or a few guards or DT.
