Auburn - aTm game. It was almost impossible to listen to. It was more like two amateurs fanboys there to talk more about how excited or disappointed they were in the last play vs actual play by play with color commentary. This isn’t the only school like this. Alabama’s is very similar. So are many of the other SEC schools. Heck, Texas, who is the other university program I root for, is more like aTm than BYU. Don’t get me started about UofU’s broadcasts. Scott Mitchell hasn’t added one piece of wisdom to a broadcast in the handful of minutes I’ve listened to that dumpster fire of a broadcast. In fact, the only thing I’ve ever heard him do is complain about the refs.

We are very lucky to have Wrubell and Hans. Hans is so much better than I ever could have imagined him being. The guy is talented and could be doing NFL color commentary. Plus as you mentioned, pre and postgame on TV or radio is so much better than anything else I’ve been exposed to.
