BYU recruited OK, possibly even exceeded Utah's ranking, when they didn't make a bowl game last year. But the story is "we're just getting started in this P4"

Utah can't use that same pitch. They were supposed to have the best team EVER this year and won't even make a bowl game. Plus now they're going to recruiting battles for those "on the fence" players to their biggest competitor - BYU, who is having a great season in just their 2nd P4 year and who can definitely tell the talk that they're ascendant.

Good. I hope they're assigned back to the mediocrity and jealousy that has defined the existence by the universe.
