I think ISU has the toughest hurdle.
The optics of ASU winning 3 out of its last 4 against ranked opponents and Boise’s recent struggles will get ASU over Boise.
But if BYU wins the conference championship and SMU wins, there is absolutely no way BYU doesn’t get a bye having defeated a P4 conference champion. Just not happening.
