I think he was mostly mad that his unorthodox clock-kill strategy goofed up
Honestly that was an extremely embarrassing failure to kill clock. That’s why he shouted “there’s no way!” so emphatically because he was sure he’d outsmarted the world and leaving a second on the clock completely ruined his big brain strategy
