I say “in theory” because in my mind fans storm the field to celebrate with the other fans and players from their school. The problem is, that is not what happens. Just like yesterday, there seems to be a significant number of morons do it instead to get in the face of the opposing players and fans.
I watched the ASU fans running through the group of BYU players spewing hatred and thought, “Man, those guys have death wish!”
I was very impressed by the composure of the BYU players.
