This is a natural economic response to lack of control with NIL. Until CFB gets
some sort of collective bargaining agreement, this will become more commonplace.
Without some sort of collective bargaining agreement, i could see it getting to the point where a player may only play as many games into a season as is needed to maximize his NFL contract, while minimizing exposure to injury.
