The LA schools thought they were big time because they’re now with blue bloods like Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn St., but they won’t even play those teams every year.
Instead of playing teams in their region—ASU, Stanford, Utah, etc—where fans care about those games because each fan base in close regions know grads from those respective schools, the L.A. schools are playing the majority of their games against Rutgers, Maryland, Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota 2 and 3 time zones away where nobody cares.
