Most, if not all, of our recruits are now kids with P4 offers. This class in particular has 5 OL with a host of P4 offers.
Our classes were in the 70s-80s during the final years of independence and are now in the 40s-50s.
Last year we had a big year with headline DL kids. This year are signing 5-6 more DL, albeit most of them aren’t as highly recruited as last year’s crop.
The thing we have yet to do since going P4 is add a headliner at QB. We have some good recruits there (Watson, Hillstead, Lugo, this year Nolan Keeney) but we haven’t been able to land the “big one”.
Of course it will take time to cycle these kids into large roles within the program, however the depth is getting better every year.
