BYU over Houston.
The problem with our team is that they aren't improving, they are getting worse. More mistakes, more bad decisions, poor play calling coming from coaches - chasing points all the 2nd half was just a BAD coaching decision. Not playing up-tempo on offense the first half - bad coaching decisions. I can put up with subpar coaching and learning curves 2-3 games into the season, but game 11? Your team is getting worse Kalani. Execution is extremely poor. We have lost to 2 straight teams that are NOT better teams than BYU talent wise, but they didn't have to be, they just needed to watch our film and see what our coaches seem to not see.
I love Kalani, but accountability is NOT his strong suit. He hangs onto coaches too long, even when performance is not at the level it should be. Remember when Mack Brown fired his D-coordinator the day after Taysom and BYU ran all over them at LES? That is accountability. 3 straight games now where the offense can't perform, 2 straight losses to middle of the road teams? 2 straight games where you just had to execute at the end of the game and you can miraculously still pull out a win? Yet they can't.
It is almost as though the coaches are not watching film and learning from their mistakes.
