The loss sucks, bad. Two games in a row of “what could have been” — but the vibes were immaculate on the east side in the second half today. Chanting BYU loud enough for Skat to signal his own counter-chanting fans to shut up was awesome. There was legitimate belief in both the last drive and the Hail Mary.

As critical as everyone will be (including the team of themselves), the energy this year’s squad has brought to a lot of battered fans around the entire country has been awesome.
