1. Offensive line not creating holes for RBs.

2. Nice INT on a tipped pass by BYU!

3. Another overthrown pass on a deep pass into double coverage. Almost an INT.

4. Dropped pass by Lassiter on play that might have resulted in a first down or at least an opportunity for a FG attempt.

5. Great punt pinning ASU inside their 5-yard line. Again, makes you question the decision not to punt at mid-field on the first drive.

6. DB trying for INT instead of just trying to knock the ball down resulting in long completion for ASU. Need to play smarter and not take unnecessary chances.

7. Batty missed sack on ASU QB. Instead of significant loss of yardage a gain of about 8 yards.

8. Can’t stop Scattebo. Based on what I’m seeing, ASU just looks like a much better team than BYU at this point in the season. I always thought Dillingham was a great hire for ASU. Now late in season 2, the results are becoming evident.

9. Wow, unprepared for surprise onside kick. Things going from bad to worse. Great time to try an onside kick. Late in the half, up by 14, and get the ball 1st in 2nd half. Yikes! ASU absolutely ready for this game, BYU, not so much. IMHO partly coaching, partly BYU still developing talent and depth in their 2nd year in a P4 conference.

10. 3 TDs for Scattebo in 1st half. BYU has got to figure out a way to stop, or at least control, him.

11. False start with just over a minute to go. Makes it 1st and 15 and BYU has to use a TO to avoid a 10-second runoff. This doesn’t help when you’re trying to score before halftime.

12. FG better than nothing, but BYU really needed a TD on that last drive of the 1st half.
