When we got the completed gearset, we got back in the car and he said "Look son, when you turn 16 and get your driver's license your buddies are gonna want you to peel out since you have a V8 in the jeep. If you do this with a rear locker, you are gonna strip the gears and I'm going to make you do all of this over again and you will pay for it."


I always let out the clutch gently in that CJ7 from that day forward.

And have never touched a gearset. ahahah.
