I don't know that he treats the next game as the most important game. They won't ever admit it but I think there's times they get caught looking ahead and think that a vanilla/conservative gameplan or overall strategy will be enough to get the job done against certain opponents but you can't coach that way. I feel like there's games where you can definitely tell the team was well prepared to play and other games where it looks like they didn't prepare at all and thought showing up would be enough.
