I don’t know if this is arod specific- or a byu coaching thing- but it seems like when something doesn’t go right the coaching goes the opposite direction too far.
Ropati throws an interception on a trick play- I don’t think we’ve ran one since
We go too slow on the final drive at the half of Utah game- next week we go too fast and spike the ball when we have 2 time outs and close to 1 minutes left.
I don’t think we have ran a screen play since Jake threw that pick At smu.
Some of these examples they’re trying to fix the problem but go too far. Other things they’re not fixing- but abandoning.
