was not the same team that had lost so many games, but had made a turn around and were suddenly playing at a much higher level--the one they had been expected to be playing at before the season began. IMHO they didn't beat us as much as we beat ourselves and we were unlucky with the pooch punt. 9 times out of 10 that doesn't end as it did, but that's just the way it was.

So, I have confidence that this team is able to beat ASU. Now, will they? In other seasons we've seen BYU teams repeat bone-head games with another bone-head game. The players seem to me to have learned that they let too much slip last week and should be much more hyper focused. We'll see. I've been very cautious all season until last week's game as I thought we'd lose every game except S. Illinois and Wyoming. I began to believe and BOOM, down they go.
