Why reduce any stadiums? Why do we care if there are empty seats? Back in the...
...90s Dodger Stadium rarely even opened up the right field pavilion. It sat completely empty for the world to see in the majority of games.

The 3rd deck never had people sitting out towards the foul poles. Even still, those seats are sometimes empty.

Who cares?

Not having enough seats is a bigger problem than having too many seats.

Thank the heavens that Dodger Stadium wasn't knocked down a few decades ago and replaced with a 35,000 seat stadium. That would have been a travesty.
