I see OSU with a likely range of scores between 60 and 100. BYU’s likely range is 80 to 120.
There is definitely room for the Cougs to win. The key could be if BYU’s top 5 are all at least top 25 (in team scoring, not overall) and OSU’s 5 pushes 50.
Here are the current computer rankings of OSU’s 5, 6, and 7. These include individual racers so their rankings drop a bit if you limit it to the teams.
Schoppe 49/41
Guadia 52/NR
Messauodi 109/93
The killer could be Guadia. Coach Smith said in an interview they were going to redshirt him but he’s looked too good in practice and they want to make sure they win this year. So they pulled the redshirt and are racing him.
OSU’s top 4 could be all top 15 if they are healthy and have a good day.
