I'd like to see the starting WRs stay on the field a lot more. The frequent subs
also adds pressure to get the ball snapped and adds to Jake getting squirrely. I would like to see Jake work at his pace more.

According to PFf. Jake is
niqmadu

which aligns to Jake being GREAT in 2min drill

I hope ARod has periods of them playing tempo

And stop with switching personnel so frequently

Well, likely they’ll adjust to the opponent and disrupt

If defense holds ASU to 17 points, I think we win.

Uh . . . didn't we hold Kansas to 17 points?
LV Mike

And we almost won. I think the offense will do better after that embarrassing

Yes, and 9 times out of 10 we win that game replayed from Sat night.

That was a flukey loss. We haven't had a full systematic breakdown like that

Plus that flukey quick kick off the helmet probably isn’t going to happen again

ASU is avg. 35 PPG at home. 17 is very unlikely.

SMU has a different QB the last 7 games. If you replaced Jake with Cam Ward you'd expect BYU to improve as well.

Jennings played 80%+ of the SMU game lol

We are the best defense they have seen all season

And still avg 21 on the road and 23 in conference. Limiting ASU to 17 is highly unlikely.

Just for statistical reference here, ASU's home low so far this year is 27.. soooo limiting them to 17 would be quite

BYU also has the #1 total defense in the B12...ASU hasnt faced that yet either
Das_Countach
11:18am
And the #1 total defense isn't averaging ppa on the road. More like 21 overall and 23 in conference

lol. 17 PA is not equivalent to 60 Points scored

Math is tough, so let's demonstrate. ASU scores around 35 ppg at home. OP wants to hold them to 17 points roughly 1/2 of

In the most basic math sure. But in terms of TD’s and possessions, not the same

This is also his first full season at the P4 level. I expect he’s going to be

I posted about this previously but ARod needs to help Jake in those blitz
MaximusMeridius

The thing is, you need the TE and RB blocking to pick up the blitz....
RGGeemer

I'd rather the RB be a safety valve, especially if the RB is LJ

On play action they keep the RB and TE in often to protect with 7. It helps.

They need to not sub in or close to red zone. Keep Martin or Moa in they are

We have run some screen plays and we suck at executing them

I also think Jake doesn't recognize pressure is coming pre-snap as often as he should. And he doesn't seem
