Yea. HS recruits are a gamble & schools will choose who they focus on for any number of reasons.
Hedging by saying “out of HS” is purposely excluding that BYU recruited him from the portal. He’s looking to invent offense & perhaps use it to motivate him for the game. Kind of a Whittingham approach but whatever. No school can recruit every HS QB that comes along. Get over yourself, dude.
