In essence, the BigXII tried to do this for us this year by moving the game up and giving us a well-placed bye, but the SEC model of leaving it to the last week of the year and using an FCS opponent for a tune-up/get healthy week is better.

I wonder if not doing this for the BigXII is actually dictated by TV partners and they couldn’t do it.
