As a unit, would you say the offense is trending towards better execution, same, or worse 10 games in?
To me, these are the questions I ask when determining coaching performance. The body of work and the trend of the unit. Is execution getting better through the season?
This is a good year for this because the core offensive players have been consistently playing. Injury factor has mostly not been a variable this season.
Using individual games to assess coaching is difficult due to several potential variables. Looking at an entire season and the trend of an offensive unit that has largely retained the core talent will be more telling of the offensive coaching staff performance.
Anxious to see the body of work at the end of the season.
