and Alabama would make more money than they make now. The reason they don’t do that, they value dominance over money. They appear to value that dominance by keeping themselves on a pedestal. I don’t think they officially split off any time soon, I think they maintain dominance by putting 8-9 of their teams in the 12 team playoff. They don’t see this as broken. It is going according to plans.
