The World Series excuse seems dumb, but maybe he meant Dodgers/Yankees
And not just any regular WS. Those are maybe the two biggest fandoms.
Also I don’t think he meant election night specifically…just that people were tuning into election or other political coverage. No clue if that’s actually true though.
