Winning big just gives us more cover so that they can’t screw us as hard as they’d like. They will direct money and attention to the conferences that have the money. That is communicated to the committee in implicit and explicit terms. They then make up reasons for why the have-nots get the bare minimum. Our play can’t change that. We just need to learn to accept that that’s what college football is.
