Yeah, this all takes care of itself.
If BYU wins out, it is in and gets a first round bye.
If BYU loses to ASU, it is out and probably deserves to be.
If BYU wins against ASU and Houston but loses the CCG, it probably gets excluded... and probably deserves to be.
