This is true. I know the background here, he was not interested. For those that don't know BYU tried to get him...
...out of the portal. He had a visit and like the program better than expected, but ASU was a better fit.
He and his parents had to be convinced to at least visit and listen to the what the coaches had to say. He could be at BYU if he wanted to be.
