Yes, it's cheesy and based on silly stereotypes, but Mark DeCarlo does such a good job of owning the cheesiness of it and playing off of it. Some of the lines that I'm sure he probably ad-libbed are hilarious. And there's some good heart to it as well.

There have been many Sundays where I've yelled at the kids, "We are going to get dressed, and GO TO CHURCH AS A HAPPY...FAMILY!"
