I've been beating the drum of a strong B12 all season but now that BYU has dropped a game and lost their mulligan, we need all the help we can get to preserve a berth in the playoff, however it may come.

If Kansas were to beat the top three teams in the B12, I think it would lend credence to the fact they were originally projected to be a conference contender and just got derailed early by UNLV and had a tough time getting back on track. It doesn't change the fact that they are a solid team with top-shelf talent.

It would make the BYU's loss last week look better, put ISU back into a more favorable light as well, and potentially keep 3-4 B12 teams in the top 25. Or so I would hope.

SMU @ UVA (keep that early-season SMU win looking good and potential H2H over the ACC champ)

CU @ Kansas (Jayhawk win would be nice as discussed above)
Pitt @ L'ville (help Pitt knock another ACC team out of the top 25)
Army @ ND (get the Irish out of our way, even for an at large berth)
Bama @ OU (unlikely but hoping for the Sooners to finally make some waves in the SEC)
TAMU @ Aub (tear down all the SEC playoff contenders)
Vandy @ LSU (always root for the underdog, especially against ranked LSU who is still hanging around the playoff discussion even though they shouldn't be)
