But, my #1 issue people keep saying his offense is as good as his talent so lets look at it.
OL: it is getting better and better because of Wood, yes we had an awful one last year and that is big reason for the struggles of last season
WR: Very talented arguably one of the best rooms I have seen from BYU, think of the depth that Cody Hagen and Tei Nacua barely see the field and they are going to be studs!
TE: This is a glaring issue with usage but we have talent, Swanson is a stud, bowers I thought he was gonna be good but hes deep in the depth chart and I don't know why Hill hasn't gotten the ball more but I wish he has.
RB: The room is loaded we have 2 true freshman who've played this year and I think have showed they will be good for the years to come
now my issue
QB: You've had 2 quarterbacks drafted in a row. one was the #2 overall pick, and you can't get a single decent young quarterback to come? So what does that resort to? 1 and done transfer QB's like they've tried to do the last 2 years with Slovis and Bohannon. Yes Jake is promising but he doesn't compare to Zach or Jaren so that is why the offense is a little lack luster because A rod is only as good as his QB.
Right now we have Jake, Gerry, Treyson (transfer), Hillstead (transfer), Hagen (idek walk-on/transfer) Lugo (true freshman) So the only QB you can recruit is through the portal from their school where they lost the job or a true freshman Lugo (who I believe in) is the only one who is going to possibly be here for more then 2 years. That isn't going to cut it.
Why can't we get a QB that is a 4 star or a high end quarterback to commit to play here? Why do we keep missing them and they are going other places? That is my biggest issue.
If the offense really on excels with an elite QB, why can't we get one especially LDS or Utah kids. That is what is frustrating to me and why I would like him gone because loosing a kid named Helaman hurts. (i know he wanted out of state)
