It probably shouldn't be a surprise that there was finally a game where some poor QB decisions contributed to a loss. If anything, it's a pleasant surprise that it didn't happen sooner.

I think it's fair to say an OC needs to account for his QB's strengths and weaknesses when formulating an offense. But, at some point you also have to trust the players to make plays. Sometimes that means they'll mess up. That's football - and life.
