I'm worried the coaches will look at the game and say their game plan almost worked, because it almost did.
That being time control and possession. And because of that, I think there's a real chance they end up not make any major adjustments on how they play their offense. Even though Jake and the offense have shown time and again that they're at their best and more in rhythm when they play higher tempo and with more urgency rather than when chewing up play clock time with subs and indecisions and wasting timeouts to save yards and allowing defenses to get more set, get an extra breath, get extra seconds to think about their gap assignments, and so forth.

Instead, they may just think that cleaning up some fundamental aspects of their play execution will be all that's needed. And that may well be all that's needed to get back to winning again, but if they don't want to give teams chances to hang around and have something backfire on them, they need to consider having the offense play with higher tempo, less sub outs per down, and so on.
