Meh, I don't have enough travels in Europe and I am highly biased about Switzerland. You could stay in almost any city
Switzerland and be able to visit alot of the country.
Luzern/Lucerne is a nicely located city with tons of beautiful sites as is Bern and Interlaken. Lugano is gorgeous and Appenzell is wonderful
