I don’t believe in momentum this way. A team can choose to quit, sure, but it’s not some actual force that will make you
play worse.
It’s just a psychological state.
Come out fired up and momentum is literally *instantly* changed?
Not a real thing.
And because it’s not a physical force in a direction, a loss like this can be just as much a wake up and push toward positive change as it could be negative as you describe.
