BYU is still a very good team but there are some hopefully easily fixed coaching
issues.

1 - Stupidly slow offense. Why are we using the entire clock? Why do we get delay of games coming out of timeouts? My observation is the offense moves better when going at a faster pace. Does Retzlaff have issues with running it at a faster pace? Does he have trouble reading the defense? Do we like giving the defense time to adjust?

2 - Allowing for late defensive substitutions. Utah was really disrupting the offense with this and yet ARod kept subbing allowing it to happen. Pick your guys for a few plays and go with it. So easily fixed.

3 - Clock management. Sit all the coaches down and watch some film or practice some scenarios. This is inexcusable for P4 coaching staffs. You are literally paid millions and can't handle clock management?

4 - I think nearly every OC in America has this problem. If something is working don't stop. Why must OC's change up the game plan when around the red zone? Yes, the field is smaller, but it you were running down their throats, keep trying. And don't do jet sweeps on a very short field. So stupid.

Fix a few of those things and BYU easily wins the last couple games. That's all on coaching.
