I think I’ll go with the mental resilience approach that great athletes and leaders have after disappointment rather
Throw everyone under the bus and all is lost. Nobody’s happy with the loss, but for heaven sakes claiming our players are bad, lack tenacity, coaches can’t recruit, and all the themes from this summer is just lacking any basis from the production on the field this year. Our offense even out produced Kansas last night, but struggled and was mistake prone in the red zone. It happens.

But listen to the coach and our top players and how they respond after a loss and you see what real leadership and perspective is that generates improvement. What I heard them say sounded a lot like mental toughness, tenacity, accountability, hating to lose, driven to win, but didn’t do anything, close to ripping on each other or downplay their success or potential. What is pretty galling To see on here when somehow fans have higher expectations of performance, then the team or coaches do.
