Yes, it couldn't have been more obvious had it slapped the ref on both cheeks,
with a pause in between, to look the ref in the eye, and smirk at him, before delivering the second blow. Those refs completely blew it on that call, and it had a huge impact on the game going forward.
And yes, BYU blew it, can't blame the refs, but some of those 10 or so key plays on which the game turned, that all went against the BYU, were several huge and obvious holds on the KU lineman on 3 and long. BYU brought the house several times, and would have gotten home and stopped drives if the blatant holds were called.
