I like our chances if we our defense can make it a low-scoring game and force them into long third and fourth downs. They’re putting a lot on freshman Sam Leavitt without much of a kicking game. I think Jay Hill can scheme to speed him up, and with a few 4th down stops it would be on the offense to play well again in a warm weather afternoon game that should have a strong BYU fan turnout. There’s a lot going for us, and I believe we are lucky this isn’t a night game to really get that crowd going.
Still need Kalani to prove he can keep this team away from spiraling like past years, but on paper we should have a good chance.
