Several times they were 1 or 2 blocks from the difference between no gain or a short loss of yardage versus picking up 3-4 yards. That kills drives.
When you’re missing those blocks, you put yourself in 3rd and medium to long too often.
Honestly, the game reminded me of an old Bronco truism that some teams struggle to drive the length of the field and will eventually make a mistake to kill their own drives.
BYU had their longest drive in history as far as time of possession and only got 3 points due to stalling. That’s a win for Kansas.
