There are 9 new players on this roster and Lauren G. was a stellar player for sure. This team does not have a dominant center but are getting it done notwithstanding. Sure, there have been some bad quarters here and there but I truly like what I see. Shooting woes can be cleaned up and the hustle on defense to shore things up down low has worked so far. I will remain optimistic that this team will exceed expectations perhaps by a lot until they take a few losses to prove otherwise. They have a holiday trip down to Cancun with games vs. Rice and Iowa where we will probably learn a lot more about what this year's team can accomplish. Iowa will be a real test (2023-24 record 34-5). It is quite possible that could be a blowout but here's me being hopeful.
