The real discussion is that multiple ‘elite’ SEC teams will end up with 3 losses and are at risk of being left out. Without some hokey reasoning to justify why they should remain ranked so high despite having 3 losses, teams like LSU, UGa, and Alabama are not getting into the CFP.
