I don't disagree that what Jake has proven that the outside of the field obsession was with Jaren not with ARod, but you're throwing things out that sell a narrative of TE that just isn't real. You have to throw out the reality of what you're peddling here.
Throwing Ta'ase TD's out is like Utah throwing Lohner's out that somehow a once in a blue moon situational guy counts as being involved heavily isn't really a thing.
Similar, Keanu Hill is averaging 11 yds receiving per game. That's not involved. It's great to spin it as 4th highest receptions, but he's accounting for 5% of our receiving yards at this point. The passing offense is Roberts and Lassiter and to a lesser extent Marion. If you add in Swanson and Ta'ase you get up to closer to 10%. I'm not really sure what you'd consider involved, but that's gotta be pretty low relative to most other schools. I wouldn't consider 10% of yardage from a position super high. This is a WR offense, plain and simple. Our TE's are blockers who occasionally catch some short little routes. That's real this year
