You have to appreciate how vibrant the state has become. Compared to many other parts of the country there is an energy and optimism that you don't often see. All the growth is bringing much better food options, more culture, and making it more of a destination.

I do feel very wistful when I go up the canyons and see cars parked bumper to bumper for around popular trails. I remember growing up how easy it was to just get away from everyone. It's still easier to go from being around thousands of people to being around no people there than just about everywhere in the country, you just have to drive a bit further. Overall I really miss it.
