1. we have other QBs on the same timeline as him, and personally I think they're more talented (e.g. Hillstead). Now if they transferred out, then we could use Isaac. But right now, we have too many QBs at his same developmental timeline.

2. we need the schollie/roster space for a new freshman who is on a different developmental timeline.

3. I'm not sure Isaac has the best fit ... there's rumors of problems in the locker room, and he seems a bit of a hothead. Many QBs are, but I don't know that his talent currently outweighs this problem.
