2020 BYU won by an average 29 points per game and had a stronger SOS than
2024 Indiana. Do you think 2020 BYU is better than 2024 BYU?
Margin of victory against a weak SOS is a worthless statistic. Can you guess the reason why 2024 Indiana is #5 and 2020 BYU was #13 going into the Coastal Carolina game? It starts with a "Big" and ends with a "Ten". If Indiana was in any conference outside the SEC/B1G they'd be ranked in the double digits barely ahead of Army.
