Day 6
And still no word from Taylor Randall, champion of the 2nd great commandment.

Also, I want to make another point. I watched the 3 losers in a basement podcast (the 80 year old wanna be tough guy being the biggest loser of the 3) that those Ute fans do and it seems their whole shtick is to ridicule us for having standards and trying to follow a code of ethics. That's fine, a lot of Ute fans love to do that to BYU fans. Mock us for not drinking, for not swearing, for trying to be decent humans. Things they don't value or try to do themselves but love to judge others for not doing as well, which is, yes, ironic. And they love to catch us at our worst and see us fall (like when they sold out the BYU football player in a Vegas club). Not that we hold them to our religious standards by any means, but there are societal standards that people hold one another to in sports and in this country in general. Mark Harlan broke many of those norms and the national media noticed, not just BYU fans.

Anyway, my point is this. Utes, you love to mock us and ridicule us for following a code of ethics. So why no outrage when your AD breaks many sports norms and ethics and then your President remains radio silent about the whole thing?

It is clear that cultural norms and ethics in regards to sports and common decency mean nothing to the University of Utah, and that's fine, we have all known this. But whenever someone else slips up I hope the Utes will do what they do best and just remain silent.
