They can tell immediately if the spleen is enlarged with a CT scan or ultrasound
And it doesn’t take 2-3 weeks to get results of a mono test. More like 30 minutes for a monospot and a few hours for a PCR test. I’m not sure what you are referring to with 2-3 weeks.
